I’m Mika. Nine years of piercing, and I’d rather talk you out of a spot than do one that won’t heal. Ears are my favourite: we plan the whole lobe-to-helix story, then build it a piercing at a time.

Before you come
- 16+ on the day, with a valid photo ID. Under 18, a parent or guardian signs too and comes with their ID.
- Deposits hold your spot and come off your total. The basic deposit is non-refundable and includes 1 free reschedule.
- Pay more up front, save more — 20% down (bookings $250+): 5% off, 2 reschedules; paid in full (bookings $100+): 10% off, 3 reschedules.
- Cancel or move at least 72 hours before your appointment. Later than that, or a no-show, forfeits what you paid.
- Running more than 15 minutes late may shorten your appointment.
- 1 guest max. No pets.
- Free downsize within 60 days of your piercing.
- Bring a photo ID. Under 18 comes with a parent or guardian and their ID too.
- Eat something first, and skip alcohol and aspirin for 24 hours.
- Every piercing starts with implant titanium or solid gold. No mall-grade metal, ever.
- More than 10 minutes late? I may have to move you — appointments are short.
Aftercare
- Spray with sterile saline twice a day, then pat dry with clean paper towel.
- Leave it alone otherwise. No twisting, no turning, no touching with unwashed hands.
- Don’t sleep on it. A travel pillow helps with fresh ears.
- No pools, hot tubs, lakes or the sea until it’s healed.
- Come back in six to eight weeks to downsize the post.
FAQ
What jewelry do you use?+
Implant-grade titanium as standard, with 14k gold or niobium if you’d like. Never mall-grade metal.
How old do I need to be?+
Bring a photo ID. Under 18, a parent or guardian comes with you, brings their ID and signs too.
What’s a downsize?+
Your first post is long, to leave room for swelling. Six to eight weeks in, I swap it for a shorter one so it heals straight. It’s free within the window.
How do deposits work?+
A $20 deposit holds your appointment and comes off your total.
How long does cartilage take to heal?+
Lobes heal in six to eight weeks. Cartilage — helix, conch, daith — takes six to twelve months. Keep it simple until then.
Can I bring my own jewelry?+
For a healed piercing, yes — I’ll check it’s implant grade first. Fresh piercings get my titanium or gold.
